Abstracts:
The model of interpenetrating mediums is applied to describe the motion of super-cooled water droplets. The numerical simulation of the process of ice accretion is based on the method which describes the thermodynamic process of super-cooled droplets hardening, impinging upon the airfoil. The results are presented on the example of NACA 0012 airfoil streamlined with two-phase viscous compressible stream, taking into account the interaction of both airflow and supercooled water droplets, the form of existence of moisture on a surface and the ice accretion regime. |
