Abstracts:
Formation of rivulets was studied experimentally at a liquid film flow over the heaters of 60×120, 100×150, and 150×150 mm2. The maps of flow regimes were plotted. It was shown that the length of a heater effects the heat flux value, corresponding to structure formation on a film surface under the action of thermocapillary forces. The thermocapillary-wave regime of rivulet formation on a surface of non-isothermal falling liquid film was studied. Data on the conditions of various structure formation and breakdown of the heated liquid film were generalized. |
