Abstracts:
Implementation of new processes of solid biomass gasification on an industrial scale is slowed by need for resin decomposition. Pre-carbonization process of solid biomass to wood coal with LHV of 25-30 MJ/kg is proposed to use to solve this problem. The possibility to increase the yield of wood coal by 12,8-20,9 % due to pre-impregnation of original wood by water solutions of H3PO4 and FeCl3 is shown by example of waste birch sawdust carbonization. After the pre-impregnation, the proportion of fixed carbon in the original wood increased by 6,6-13,2 %, that along with the choice of the optimum regime of conversion had a decisive impact on increasing the efficiency of the process of wood carbonization in 1,6-1,8 times. |
