The paper presents results of experimental studies of the evaporation of sessile water droplets on the surface of various porous materials with air blowing. The temperature drops and the surrounding porous surface obtained by the method of infrared thermography. In all experiments, the smallest value of the surface temperature exceeds the wet bulb temperature, due to supply of heat flux from the surface of the material. To porous copper plate the smallest value of the surface temperature drops was higher than that for droplets on the polypropylene surface, due to the higher coefficient of thermal conductivity of copper and, respectively, a more intense heat flux.
