This work presents the results of experimental investigations of generation of cavitational vortex rings (CVR) from flooded cylindrical tube into water with diameter from 20 to 40 mm and length 30 – 100 mm. The dynamics of development and propagation of CVRs in water depending on the velocity of water pushing is investigated. It is established that CVRs in the shape of the hollow tore are developed at the values of velocity of jet more than 2 m/s. At the velocity of jet higher than 6 m/s the radial pulsations of CVR are detected at the first time with the optical methods.
