Abstracts:

The paper analyzes the literature associated to the use of coal-water fuel (CWF) as a source of clean energy. The composition and properties of CWF, main directions of application in the power engineering, advantages and disadvantages of using suspension technology, global developments for conversion the CWF to various chemical products and studies by improve the efficiency of the gasification of solid fuels were described. The possibilities of using gasification technology applied to mini thermal power plant, which is characterized by simple methods to provide compactness of the technological scheme, such as gasification with air-blowing, were considered. Composition and heating value of the generator gas, which obtained by air gasification of coal dust and coal-water fuel with coal 60% by weight, were calculated. The influence of temperature and pressure on the properties of the generator gas was analyzed. Heating value of generator gas obtained by gasification CWF at temperatures until 1400 K was higher than that for the coal dust. At that, increasing pressure does not to increase the heating value of gas at both cases.
