With use of modern measuring high-precision diagnostic PIV system an experimental investigation of evaporation integrated characteristics for typical pulverized extinguishing liquids moving through a flame of the limited sizes is performed. The influence of the salt impurities on completeness of the extinguishing liquid evaporation is established. The change range of the main evaporation integrated characteristics of the pulverized liquids drops, such as sizes, weight and speed, are determined. In particular, as a result of experimental cycle the dependences of the average sizes and mass reduction ranges of the pulverized liquid drops on component structure of the liquid are established. It is shown that the two-phase flow rate of pulverized liquid is considerably decreases after passing the flame of a fixed height. Recommendations concerning dispersion parameters of typical extinguishing liquids at which completeness of their evaporation is provided are formulated.
