Abstracts:

The paper presents results of numerical simulation of turbulent convection of steam-air mixture in a confined enclosure under conditions of film condensation of steam on an infinite row of cooled vertical tubes located in the central part of enclosures. Results of computations of free convection of air carried out for the same model configuration are discussed. The computations were performed on the base of 3D steady formulation using RANS approach and aimed at studying of the influence of the distance between the tubes on the flow structure and heat transfer characteristics. A comprehensive analysis of the structure of the velocity, temperature and concentration fields, as well as the distribution of the heat flux on the surfaces of the tubes is done.
