EFFICIENCY OF THE NEAR-WALL SCREEN AT GAS-DROPLET COOLING

Abstracts:

Efficiency of the gas-liquid screen expressed via total enthalpies of the mixing flows was studied analytically. It is shown that at the film flow of liquid over the surface a change in the wall temperature approaches dependences achieved for the laminar flow. At high gas temperatures droplets evaporation becomes more intensive, and their precipitation on the surface weakens. The value of cooling efficiency decreases, and as for the vapor-air mixture it can be described by the dependences of the turbulent flow.
