The mathematical model based on the use of the diffusion equation written in the cylindrical coordinate system was applied previously for modeling the process of extraction of moisture from the granular silica gel. We used this model in the case of process of extraction moisture from the paddy Korean rice. For this purpose we determine firstly diffusion coefficient. It permits one to determine the dynamics of the moisture distribution in the rise cylinder filling. The numerical calculations for different values of the initial moisture content is in satisfactory agreement with the experimental data obtained by drying of paddy rice acoustic-convective dryer ITAM SB RAS. The significant intensification of an acoustic-convective drying over self-drying is qualitatively and quantitatively demonstrated.
