Abstracts:

Shows the interest of leading world powers to the development of alternative ways of producing hydrocarbons from coal, peat, oil shale. The analysis of the state of Russian developments in this area. Various technologies of deep processing of coal to produce synthetic liquid fuels and other valuable hydrocarbons. It is shown that the processes are promising coal gasification, which are suitable for almost any grade coals, including low grade brown coal. However, the level of work in this area allows us to speak of them as a complete technological products that are ready to implement on an industrial scale. Bring work to the stage of commercialization does not allow the lack of funding and coordination. To create innovative technologies for the synthesis of energy from coal and other alternative raw materials are required: the development of the basic concept, organization and coordination of research, design work, construction of demonstration series, pilot plants and industrial plants.
