THE HEAT TECHNICAL INDICATORS OF OPERATION OF THE STEAM BOILER TP-35 WHILE PROCESSING ON A COAL-WATER FUEL

Abstracts:

At present, due to the urgency of use of water-coal fuel in the power plant units it is necessary to research the heat technical characteristics and parameters of operation of such units to define the possibility and expediency of their transfer to combustion of such type of fuel. The work presents the results of heat technical researches of the average power steam boiler TP-35 transfer on combustion of water-coal fuel. The features of operation of the specified boiler unit combusting this type of fuel are considered. When burning water-coal fuel it is necessary to provide the activities of stability of burning and extent of burning out and to maintenance of the set temperature level. A necessary condition for efficient combustion of water-coal fuel is to ensure the temperature is not below 9001000 oC. In addition, the most complete combustion of fuel is observed with a coefficient of air excess of 1,1-1,2 and air heating temperature of not less than 300 oC. As a result of settlement and theoretical researches it is established that in case of the boiler unit transfer to water-coal fuel usage the productivity can change over a wide range – from 60 to 100% from nominal. However, it is defined that during the operation on nominal modes there are some technological violations of operation of a boiler. The research results shown that one of the ways of providing a steady technological mode is steam generator decline in production with preservation of nominal parameters of steam. Indicators of operation of the steam boiler are estimated at various loadings and the analysis of the findings is made. The dependences of constructive characteristics of convective surfaces of the steam generator on change of its productivity for receiving superheated steam of demanded parameters are determined. The analysis of thermal balance showed that the boiler unit efficiency decreases in the greater extent during the operation on water-coal fuel. It occurs due to the increase in losses from the flue gases as when using water-coal fuel temperature of smoke gases in front of the smoke exhauster increases by 2530°C. Thermal operating modes of the steam boiler TP-35 are given in the settlement range of productivity. The findings allow to establish optimum operating modes of the steam generator combusting the water-coal fuel which can be applied further to forecast effective operation of boiler units transferred to this type of fuel.
