Abstracts:

Heat and mass transfer with external gaseous medium influence on carbon dusts burning characteristics (ignition delay, burning time, critical parameters of ignition and extinction) is studied in the paper. The fuel mass concentration and the particles diameters upper limits are proved to exist, which limit the possibility of full burn out of carbon dusts. The fuel mass concentrations range corresponding to full burn out is defined.
