Results of visual investigation of flow structure of round microjet in narrow channel are presented. Investigations were done in laminar and turbulent flow regimes. Using high-speed visualization data four jet flow regimes in shallow channel were recognized: laminar, laminar with large-scale vortex structures, transitional and turbulent regimes. It was shown that laminar-turbulent transition is connected with instability sinusoidal mode development. Laminar and transitional flow regimes are characterized by strong dependence of jet laminar zone length on Reynolds number. For turbulent regime this dependence is weak and length of jet laminar zone decreases with growth of Reynolds number.
