NUMERICAL SIMULATION OF COAL-WATER FUEL BASED ON THE OF COAL SLURRIES COMBUSTION

Abstracts:

Investigations of combustion process of coal-water slurry based on waste coal in the adiabatic vortex chamber by using the Ansys Fluent v 12.1. ICEM CFD v 12.1 which is a preprocessor Ansys Fluent is used as the grid generator. The distribution of temperature fields determined by the volume of combustion chamber, the mass rate of evaporation of the liquid phase, the yield of volatile matter and carbon burnout of the solid phase of water-coal fuel was determined by the numerical simulation. The calculated data are correlated with the experimentally obtained results.
