Abstracts:

The paper discusses effective ways to convert existing low-power thermal units to work with the coal-water fuel. The analysis of the current state of thermal power equipment in Ukraine is performed. It is shown that the range of low-power coal and gas boilers on the majority of power industry enterprises is almost the same that causes in the long term prediction widening of new technical solutions applications. The results of representative pilot-scale and demonstration experiments on combustion of CWF, in the fluidized bed boilers, furnaces, as well as in chamber furnaces flaring in conjunction with the coal-water fuel.
