Abstracts:

The engineering technique of calculation the high-temperature tube recuperators (HTTR) for industrial furnaces has been advanced basing upon utilization the balance equations and the criterial dependences for internal heat exchange within the tubes for the cases of arrangement of the inserts of various geometry within the tubes. The numerical analysis has been carried out by variation of the tubes arrangement circuit design. By analysis of energy characteristics of the recuperators the advantages of the design with the inserts have been founded in comparison with the plants equipped with the traditional (smooth) tubes. An opportunity of substantial (of 100°C order) temperature growth of an air preheating as well as lowering the tube walls temperature has been confirmed being stated earlier under the tests and by CFD modeling.
